Zoo Day

Owen had a great day at the Zoo. Here he is trying to get the attention of a silver back gorilla.

40 Minutes of Peace

On our 7 hour odyssey back to Omaha from South Dakota, Owen took a nap of only 40 minutes. We took a picture to remind us that he can in fact, sleep in the car.

Spider Kid

"Grandma, I know you want to protect me around the pool, but this is ridiculous. Not to mention the fact that it's 20 years old."

Play Time

Owen invited his friend Tony over for a little sandbox fun. They were more interested in eating the sand than playing with it.

New Chair

Owen was excited to get a chair his own size. He spends his mornings eating cheerios and watching Sesame Street. He likes Elmo, however his Dad is a big fan of Cookie Monster.

Sioux Falls

At the end of June we met up with my Mom, Ryan, Sacha and Weston in Sioux Falls. Owen and Weston had enough of the picnic. Weston wanted to get back to the hotel to ride the water slide for the 300th time. Owen was not as big a fan of the water slide. And by "not a big fan" I mean "terrified".

Owen's favorite room at the museum by far was the ball room.

Don't Have A Cow, Man!

Owen spent the day at the Omaha Children's Museum with his Mom, Grandma and cousins. He didn't know what to think of this cow.

Helping Dad

Well, we haven't updated the blog in a while. Here's what we've been up to. In June we had several evergreen trees planted. Owen was a huge help mulching around the trunks. In honor of my home state, we went with Black Hills Spruce Trees.
